The Blackburn Community Association is a volunteer-run board of directors that serves the residents of Blackburn Hamlet. A few of the services provided by the Blackburn Community Association, include:
- advocacy at the municipal, provincial and federal levels of government on behalf of Blackburn Hamlet residents;
- organization of a wide range of community activities and events for residents of all ages all year round;
- management and administration of programming at the Blackburn Community Hall, located at 190 Glenpark Dr.;
- active stakeholder and liaison with community associations and groups across the city;
- sponsorship of non-profit groups serving residents in our community
