A BCA membership costs just $10.00 annually for the whole family - the best bargain in Blackburn.
What does the BCA do for you?
Sponsers the (famous)Annual Funfair - a family event which takes place over a
weekend late May/early June.
Publishes the BANAR five times a year and delivers free to BH residents.
Co-ordinated, organized and partially funded the Community Hall which opened in January 1999.
Funded and arranged for the installation of our three beautiful community identification signs erected in 1998/2000.
Funded the purchase of the childrens' water turtle, sponsored the "pool toys" in the summer of 2000, and pool patio furniture at
Bearbrook Pool.
Funds/Supports the Winter 'Loonie Skates' in the park and at the Arena, Winter Funday, Family Fun Run, Spring Garage Sale
Oversees the allocation of special funding to various Blackburn interest groups, i.e. the
tennis club for re-surfacing the courts.
Represents Blackburn Hamlet at Ottawa City meetings(ad hoc.)
