The Banar goes out five times a year to Blackburn residents and businesses to celebrate community and provide information on local programs and events. Local businesses use the BANAR to stay "top of mind" to present and future customers. The BANAR is a high quality 28 page, black print magazine.
Deadlines and Delivery Dates for 2010: Jan 13 / Jan 29–Feb 7 • March 17 / April 2 –11 • May 12 / May 30–June 4 • Aug17/Sept 10-14 • Oct 13 / Oct 29–31. It is unlikely that dates are changed but please verify here if your ad or article is time sensitive.
Circulation for September–April issues is 4,200; June issue 5,000 (Fun Fair Issue).
Delivery — The Banar is delivered by local community groups or with The Citizen and local advertising flyers. Copies of the BANAR are available at the Blackburn Library or Metro while quantities last. Email your full address to the publisher if you do not receive the BANAR within a week of the last delivery date.
Opportunity for groups to earn $250 by delivering the BANAR—16 routes in Blackburn, each route takes 1.5 to 2 hours to complete. Contact Evelyn Budd at ev@buddpublishing.com.

Ad specifications: Ads are to to be the correct size and sent in Photoshop (300 dpi), Illustrator, Quarkxpress or as a PDF file. Cost for creating or making changes to ads is $65/hour. Colour advertising is available for an additional cost.
