Supports Hockey Day in the Hamlet, Spring Clean Up, and the Annual Garage Sale.
Runs a Friday night youth drop in in partnership with the Eastern Ontario Resource Centre

Supports the Winter 'Loonie Skates' in the park and at the Arena, the Family Fun Run and the Annual Garage Sale.
Allocates special funding to various Blackburn interest groups.
Represents Blackburn Hamlet at Ottawa City meetings(ad hoc).

Jeff and Stéphane Crête had opened the J&S Service Station together in 1994. Jeff and Stéphane Crête had opened the J&S Service Station together in 1994. He will be dearly missed by his business partner/friend Stéphane and close friends Carol, Alex, Rick as well as the Blackburn community he served so well. He leaves behind his mother, Florence.
